Work of the Contract is for the reconstruction and improvements of approximately 1.25 miles along Garth Road from the intersection of W Archer Rd to the intersection of IH-10 (Phases A and B). The project scope includes: Demolition of existing pavement. Construction of water and wastewater utilities Construction of storm trunk lines varying in sizes from 6x2 RCBs to 12x4 RCBs. Construction of detention pond Construction of wingwalls at outfall locations. Construction of 6-lane roadway with a left turn lane and median. Reconstruction of driveways Construction of 10 ft shared used path on the east side of the road and a 6 ft sidewalk on the west Installation of pavement markings and signage as shown in the plans. Installation of temporary traffic signals and permanent traffic signals as shown in the plans. Installation of roadway illumination. Installation of irrigation, landscaping and landscape lighting as shown in the plans.
