The purpose of this solicitation for Material Handling Operation Services at NGS (this "Solicitation") is to evaluate and select an industrial contractor that possess the technical expertise to provide economical pricing for the labor necessary to perform Material Handling operations and inspection, as well as some minor preventative maintenance at the JEA Northside Generating Station power plant site. Specifically, operations and inspections regarding the handling of biomass, limestone, solid fuel (coal and petroleum coke), and ash disposal operations as described in this Solicitation (the "Work") and to determine the best method for JEA to procure the Work with regards to pricing, quality, design, and workmanship. The services performed will be those not already contracted for in other JEA service contracts. A more detailed description of the Work is provided in the Technical Specifications included as an Exhibit to this Solicitation. Capitalized terms used in this Solicitation without definition shall have the definitions given to them in Section 2 of this Solicitation.
