Closing Time: 12:00 PM (NT) ** Please note that there has been 3 addendum issued for this RFP. ** Question Acceptance Deadline 2025/08/12 12:00:00 AM NDT The Department requires consulting services on an "As-and-When-Requested Basis." The scope of work under this contract is to provide multidisciplinary Professional Engineering services for various addresses throughout the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador. The scope generally may include but is not limited to: 1. Building renovations or recapitalization design including but not limited to complete or partial renovations of various residential and commercial apartment also including all associated disciplines (demolition, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, geotechnical, cost estimating, commissioning, architectural, hazardous materials, energy management control systems, etc.); 2. Demolition and Deconstruction projects of various infrastructure types; 3. Mechanical and Electrical projects including but not limited to heating/cooling upgrades, electrical upgrades (distribution, lighting, security, communications systems, fire alarm systems and instruction alarm systems); 4. Civil work including but not limited to new road and road re-alignment, water/storm/sanitary sewer, site grading, site development, etc; 5. New Building Design including but not limited to residential, apartment buildings, commercial buildings, including all associated disciplines (structural, mechanical, electrical, civil, cost estimating, architectural, energy management control systems, commissioning, etc.); 6. Studies and Investigation including but not limited to code compliance reviews, structural analysis, building condition analysis, cost estimating, concept and option analysis for new and renovation projects, and other associated studies and investigations. 7. The Consultant will be required to provide the Services as and when needed to meet the SO requirements, which may include, but may not be limited to, the following disciplines: 1. Architecture including landscape; 2. Structural Engineering; 3. Mechanical Engineering; 4. Electrical Engineering; 5. Civil Engineering including geotechnical; 6. Environmental Engineering; 7. Cost Estimating; and 8. Sustainable Design. 8. The required Services under the SO may include, but may not be limited to, the following: 1. Pre-design Report; 2. Preparation of Statement of Requirement OR Construction Requirements; 3. Options Analysis; 4. Concept Design; 5. Life Cycle Cost Analysis Integrating Climate Change; 6. Design Development; 7. Cost Estimation and scheduling; 9. Preparation of Construction Documents OR of Performance Specifications; 1. Tender Phase Services; and 2. Construction Phase Services.
