Site work and paving for a road / highway in Nescopeck, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Bids are invited for the following contract: STOUTS ROAD PROJECT for approximately 3,500 square yards of roadway. Base repair and scratch and level of roadway. This project is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Bids can be submitted at the Nescopeck Township Municipal Building, 429 Berwick/Hazleton Highway, Nescopeck, PA 18635 between the hours of 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM, Monday through Thursday. Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $870.00 per calendar day. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the municipality. For third class cities the bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to the municipality. For other municipal types it is the discretion of the municipality. A performance bond or certified check in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder within 20 days after the contract is awarded. The municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
