Renovation of a residential development in Pensacola, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

General Contractors that are licensed, insured, and in good standing with the County are eligible to bid on the attached scope. New contractors with the county are required to submit a letter of insurability agreeing to these requirements. Escambia County may award Line item by Line item for emergency items limited to roofing and septic/sewer services. Question Submission Deadline:August 6, 2025, 1:00pm The rehabilitation of this owner-occupied, single-family, residence is to make the home safer, more energy efficient, and easier to access within the provisions of federal, state, and county laws and ordinances and the SHIP repair program. The rehabilitation of this home will include the following tasks as outlined below and the repaired areas are to match as close as possible to their existing surroundings. If additional tasks beyond those included in this scope are discovered, then additional funds may be allocated. Before any additional work is performed, written county approval will be needed. There is no federal funding for this project. 1.ROOFING Repair: Install an appropriate roofing ventilation system and replace any deteriorated or damaged roofing with like, kind, and quality of existing materials. Repair or replace any damaged roof framing to include rafter tails, rafters, and barge rafters. Install a peel and stick underlayment water barrier as per the Escambia County Building Code. Trim any trees over hanging roof to clear roof by approximately 10' and remove all debris from site. Repair or replace any damaged fascia and soffit with like material and match the finish as close as possible. Photographs are required for all stages of construction. 2.PLUMBING Repair: Inspect and repair the leaky toilet and all pipe and fittings associated with this repair. 3.ELECTRICAL Repair: Inspect and repair all of the electrical issues in the home. The front room outlets are not working correctly and the circuits that trip when loaded. This may require additional plate covers, switches and/or outlets to be added if the existing space does not meet the Escambia County Building Code. Repair the drywall damage from the wiring and paint to match as close as possible.
