The project is located at: USCG Base Borinquen, 260 Guard Road, Aguadilla, Puerto Rico 00603 1 Project Overview: This scope of work outlines the abatement of leadcontaining ceramic tiles and the associated asbestoscontaining glue in three designated areas of the community center. The total square footage for the requested abatement is currently approximately 3,000 square feet, and during visit may increase with the objective of safely removing these materials down to the cement floor. To ensure the safe removal of lead and asbestos materials to protect the health of occupants and workers. To comply with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations concerning hazardous materials abatement. To restore the affected areas to a safe condition suitable for future use. Specifications: Total Area for Abatement: Approximately 3,000 square feet by site visit may increase. Materials to be Abated: Lead ceramic tiles and asbestos-containing glue. Final Condition: Abate down to the cement floor, ensuring no hazardous materials remain.
