Renovation of a water / sewer project in Denver, Colorado. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

Reference Number 0000394256 Bid Intent Not Available The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) requires services for the evaluation and recommendation of potential improvements of existing treatment systems, construction, installation, testing, optimization, operation and maintenance of floor drain water treatment/recycle systems (FDWTS) at CDOT maintenance facilities statewide. These systems are currently in operation or are scheduled to be installed at both existing and newly constructed CDOT maintenance facilities. These treatment units have been installed throughout the state at maintenance facilities that do not have access to a municipal sanitary sewer service. The work, as described herein, will be at locations statewide as identified by individual task orders as part of the master contract issued under this Scope of Work (SOW). The purpose of the work is to provide water treatment/recycle systems for CDOT facilities that do not have access to city sewer systems and/or are on well water with poor quality or limited water production. There are currently forty-five (45) floor drain water treatment/recycle systems that have been installed over the past 17 years at specific vehicle maintenance facilities throughout the state. CDOT requires these systems to be upgraded to more efficient, cost-effective technologies under this contract. All modifications will be evaluated on a site-by-site basis. Such technologies may include treatment of the floor drain water stored in holding tanks at each facility by Reverse Osmosis (RO) Treatment, Evaporator Drums (ED), Evaporation Ponds where the discharge water from the FDWTS will be kept at a specific site to evaporate or any other treatment methodology that can remove enough salt and metals from the water so site maintenance staffs can reuse this water for washing vehicles. Question Deadline 08/05/2025 at 12:00 PM MT Questions are submitted online Yes, There will be a question-and-answer period. All questions must be submitted through online. Answers to all questions submitted will be posted in online. August 8th. It will be the bidder's responsibility to read the modifications and submit signature pages reflecting the modifications.
