The purpose of this solicitation is to select one qualified contractor for JOC services. JOC services will include reconstructing road sections totaling approximately 14.6 miles of existing gravel private farm roads located 65 miles east of Denver, Colorado on a private operating dryland Farm. Work Site Location: a. Approximately 8 miles east of Deer Trail, CO on the property owned by Metro Water Recovery. The project site is located in Arapahoe and Elbert Counties. Description of Project: 1. Work for the Farm Roads Improvement project contract generally consists of furnishing, delivering, constructing, installing, and testing approximately 7.4 miles of gravel road, culvert crossing improvements, and new crossing construction. a. The construction of the road improvements work shall include providing and installing all necessary materials, and all other appurtenances to provide an all weather gravel road, and as shown or called for in the Contract Documents. All excavating, backfilling, trenching, erosion control, surface restoration, testing, and site restoration to original conditions shall be performed by the Contractor as part of this Work. The work will include, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Installation of Erosion Control Devices. 2. Clearing and Grubbing of Construction Site for Project Access. 3. Removal and replacement of barbed wire fencing as needed for construction. 4. Construction of Work Package 1 consisting of approximately 3,950 linear feet of gravel road improvements for Hilltop Road and approximately 16,525 linear feet of gravel road improvements for Badger Creek Road. 5. Construction of Work Package 2 consisting of approximately 17,810 linear feet of gravel road improvements for Wardel Road. 6. Construction of Work Package 3 consisting of approximately 19,000 linear feet of gravel road improvements for Beaver Creek Road. 7. Construction of Work Package 4 consisting of approximately 12,170 linear feet of gravel road improvements for Central Ridge Road and approximately 7,720 linear feet of gravel road improvements for Terrace Road. 8. Cleaning and extension of one (1) 24-inch culvert on Hilltop Road. 9. Cleaning and extension of one (1) 24-inch culvert and six (6) 48-inch culverts along Badger Creek Road. 10. Replacement of two (2) 24-inch culverts and installation of one (1) 24-inch corrugated metal culvert along Wardel Road. 11. Installation of three (3) new 36-inch corrugated metal culverts and three (3) new 48-inch corrugated metal culverts along Wardel Road. 12. Removal of existing 144-inch culvert on Wardel Road and construction of 144-inch x 144-inch concrete box culvert with wing walls. 13.
