RFQ; The purpose of this project is to replace approximately 306 linear feet of existing 8' composite privacy fencing and 35 linear feet of 4' barrier fencing with Basteel Cambridge-style fencing. This includes removal and disposal of old fencing and installation of new gates and structural supports to enhance durability and aesthetics. Demolition and Removal: o Remove existing 8' tall Trex privacy fencing along the south side of the building. o Extract all existing posts and haul away all fencing material and debris. o Fill any unused post holes with sand for safety and stabilization. o Remove existing short fencing around A/C units in the yard area and clean up site debris. Installation: o Furnish and install new 8' tall Basteel Cambridge-style fence. o Install the following gates: o One (1) walk gate on the west side o One (1) double 10' gate on the east side o Two (2) cover the existing dumpster gate frames o Two (2) gate stops to prevent impact damage to hinge posts o Install plated posts on concrete areas on the west side. o All other posts to be set in concrete using two 80lb bags of concrete mix per post (wet mixed). o Furnish and install approximately 35 linear feet of new 4' tall barrier fencing with one (1) 4' wide gate to match the style of the main fence. Contractor Responsibilities o Supply all necessary labor, materials, and equipment. o Ensure all fencing materials and gate hardware are pre-approved by the Family Services Operations team. o Maintain a clean worksite and dispose of all demolition and construction waste off-site. o Ensure installation meets all applicable local codes and standards. o Complete the project within 30 calendar days from the agreed start date.
