Summary A Royal Palm was destroyed on Median 57 North of Pine Ridge Road on 41 North Trail and the insurance claim requires a replacement to be made and invoice to be submitted. The Royal was approximately 30 ft tall. The tree replacement will require TTC/MOT for roadway operations and a Sunshine 811 ticket for locates. A similarly sized Royal Palm will need to be purchased, transported, installed, and braced as well as irrigation heads reconnected to water the new planting. The quote provided for review should reflect all of these elements for Road Maintenance Landscape Personnel to review. The Royal palm should be of similar sizing, and must be purchased, transported, installed, braced, and irrigation reconnected and all of this should be reflected in the quote provided to the county. Bracing will require timbers of appropriate size and a metal band for lashing based on tree size, this should be inclusive of all cost The purchase order term, if an award is made is intended to be for a one-time purchase. Prices shall remain firm for the term of the resultant purchase order. No Exceptions to the County's Purchase Order Terms and Conditions Nor a Vendor Provided Contract Will Be Accepted. Surcharges will not be accepted in conjunction with this purchase order, and such charges should be incorporated into the pricing structure. All goods are FOB destination and must be suitably packed and prepared to secure the lowest transportation rates and to comply with all carrier regulations. Risk of loss of any goods sold hereunder shall transfer to the COUNTY at the time and place of delivery; provided that risk of loss prior to actual receipt of the goods by the COUNTY nonetheless remain with VENDOR.
