Questions Due Date: Aug 25th 2025, 4:00 PM EDT The project includes rehabilitation of the existing building and rebuild missing features for the Spring House as part of Farmstead's core historic area; The construction of the Spring house took place early-to-mid-19th century. The goal of the project is to refresh the life cycle of the building and to keep it in service in support of the Alliance and Township's mission to preserve and sustain the property for community use. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to repair and historic treatment of existing masonry, reconstruction of wood framing, siding, windows, doors, flooring and roofing, and the restoration of the existing water channel. This project only includes the repairs for the Spring House. Location- 2668 Byberry Rd Hatboro, PA 19040 Each bid shall be submitted in accordance with Article 15 of the Instructions to Bidders and Document 00 21 13 Instructions - Submitting Electronic Bids for This Solicitation and must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check for not less than ten percent (10%) of the Bid amount payable to Upper Moreland Township along with an Agreement of Surety certifying that the required Performance and Payment Bonds will be provided to the Bidder. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish proof of insurance and bonds for Performance, Payment, and Maintenance in such form as meets the approval of Upper Moreland Township and having as security thereon such Surety company or companies as are approved by Upper Moreland Township. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening of the bids. Upper Moreland Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any cause whatsoever, to eliminate any item or items from the contract, and to waive any informality in the bids.
