Site work for a civil project in Grand Forks, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The City of Grand Forks invites qualified contractors to submit proposals for the pad preparation and earthworks of a glass fused steel reservoir in accordance with MMCD guidelines and specifications. The successful proponent will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and specifications. The scope of work shall include: Earthworks for a pad preparation, access driveway and drainage ditch. The project shall include the placement and grading of approved excavated material on the land immediately adjacent to the excavated pad. The Proponent shall assume that all excavated material can be placed at this location. The works shall not include the watermain, drainage pipe, finished gravel on top of the pad, storm culvert, electrical conduit, lighting, fencing, reservoir or other items shown on the drawing package. These details are included in the drawing package for overall project understanding. These out of scope items will be included in a separate tendered contract. If bedrock removal is required, it shall be paid via GC. 10 - Force Account. The City currently has an RFP issued for the supply and installation of the above ground reservoir that will be placed on the proposed pad site. The exact dimensions of the reservoir are currently unknown and will be defined by the successful tank supplier and installer.
