Remove/replace leaking segments of overflow pipe g. Remove and replace screen on overflow pipe h. Remove and replace flap gate on overflow pipe i. Remove and replace all deteriorated anchor bolts j. Repair spalls on concrete foundations k. Remove/repair all damaged grout l. Repair/tighten cable fall prevention devices m. ADDITIVE ALTERNATE #1 - Interior Dry Surface Prep and Coating Application Completion- (548) consecutive calendar days All proposals shall be accompanied by either a bid bond on the "Proposal Bid Bond" form contained in the proposal, executed by a corporate surety company satisfactory to the Keokuk Municipal Waterworks, or a bank cashier's check, an irrevocable letter of credit or a properly certified check payable to the Keokuk Municipal Waterworks for not less than 5 percent (5%) of the amount bid, or for the amount listed in the specifications. No pre-bidding conference will be held. The Keokuk Municipal Waterworks reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technicalities and reserves the right to determine the qualifications of any and all contractors to perform the work required under this contract. Bidders are notified that not less than the prevailing wage rate as determined by the Davis Bacon Act shall be paid to all workmen performing work under this contract.
