Project Overview Devine Municipal Airport (FAA ID: 23R), located on FM 2200 just 2 mi from SH 173, serves general aviation and supports facilities including a single active runway, hangars, apron, and fuel farm. The City of Devine seeks a qualified contractor to provide professional grass cutting, shredding, and trimming services across approximately 22 acres, with up to two cuts per month during the growing season. 2. Scope of Work o Mow/shred all turf areas, including runway safety zones, taxiways, apron edges, and adjacent support facilities. o Trim around runway lights, hangars, fuel tanks, fence lines, signage, pavement edges, and structures. o Ensure debris-free surfaces and maintain clear sightlines per FAA standards. o Dispose or mulch grass clippings on-site; remove excess material. o Conduct inspections and report turf/dike issues or obstructions. 3. Proposal Requirements Submit sealed or emailed proposals including: o Company profile, staff qualifications, and relevant airport/military/FAA grounds experience. o Detailed work approach and equipment inventory. o Proposed schedule (baseline for two monthly cuts, adjustments per season). o Pricing: per cut and annual total, including any seasonal adjustments or additive services. o Proof of insurance (min. $1M general liability), safety plan, and applicable licenses. o References from at least three recent municipal or airport landscaping contracts. 5.
