Scope of Work: Thorough preparation of all exterior concrete block and cap metal surfaces. o Repair of grout and chipped block areas. o Surface protection of existing stucco to prevent overspray or damage. o Painting of all prepared surfaces with recommended materials. Surface Preparation: Cleaning: A. Power wash all concrete block surfaces and metal areas to remove dirt, chalking, efflorescence, loose paint, mold, mildew, and other surface contaminants. B. Use clean water and a low-pressure detergent solution if necessary to assist in cleaning; rinse thoroughly. C. Allow surfaces to dry completely, typically 24-48 hours depending on weather conditions. Repairs:- A. Remove any loose, damaged, or deteriorated grout and mortar joints. B. Repair with an appropriate matching masonry grout or joint filler. C. Chip or damaged concrete blocks must be chipped out and patched with a suitable, matching patch compound, such as non-shrinking patching mortar. 3. Crack and Chip Repair: Fill cracks and chips with high-quality, exterior-grade patching products.Sand smooth after curing, ensuring a flush surface before painting . Protection: Mask and cover all existing stucco surfaces thoroughly to prevent paint overspray. Remove or mask adjacent surfaces, fixtures, and equipment to prevent contamination. Priming: Do not apply primer on fully painted surfaces unless the existing paint has been stripped or is peeling.
