A firm timeline for bidding and construction has not been established. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The scope of work includes full architectural and/or engineering services for various projects for the Governor's Mansion Complex. The projects will vary in size, complexity, and duration. The work may include, but is not limited to, exterior/interior building restoration and site improvements. The Applicants shall demonstrate experience with preservation and restoration of historic buildings in accordance with the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for Treatment of Historic Properties; experience with full project management from project inception through completion of construction; and knowledge of and experience with the Alabama Division of Construction Management procedures for design and construction projects. The Applicants and consultants shall hold current professional licenses and be registered in the State of Alabama. Applicants will be selected on the basis of experience and qualifications of the firm and consultants with structures equivalent to the scope of these projects; capability and ability to perform the work in a timely manner; and range of services provided by proposed team. 41-16-82 of the Code of Alabama, 1975, as amended requires a disclosure statement to be completed and filed with all qualifications, proposals, bids, contracts, or grant proposals submitted to the State of Alabama in excess of $5,000.00. This request for qualifications is not an offer to contract but seeks the submission of qualifications from qualified, professional respondents that may form the basis for the negotiation of an agreement. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all qualifications and to solicit additional qualifications, through the RFQ process, if that is determined to be in the best interests of the State of Alabama.
