Demolition and site work for a mixed-use development in Chicago, Illinois. Completed plans call for the demolition of a transportation facility; for site work for a transportation facility; and water / sewer project.

The project scope of work will eliminate the Central Detention Basin while expanding the South Detention Basin, which are both required in order to commence construction of the Terminal Area Plan (TAP) Satellite #1 and #2 Concourses. Trade Package 05: Basin Modifications: This project is comprised of two (2) components located within the Airport Operations Area (AOA). The first component is work associated with the Central Detention Basin. This scope includes demolition of infrastructure at the Central Detention Basin, installation of storm sewer infrastructure including the installation of 108" RCP (owner supplied), and the embankment of lime modified earthen materials. The second component is work associated with the South Detention Basin. This scope includes injecting cementitious grout into the fractured bedrock to the west of the existing basin, and the excavation of earthen materials to be embanked in the Central Detention Basin, associated infrastructure improvements, and restoration of the South Detention Basin.
