Renovation of a municipal facility in Boston, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 3,300-square-foot, two-story above grade municipal facility.
Removal of existing carpet, VCT and rubber wall base and install new VCT flooring and rubber wall base at the common areas of the 3rd and 4th floors of BCYF Central located at 1483 Tremont St., Roxbury as further described in the specifications Question Deadline 08/18/2025 at 12:00 PM ET Questions Due to the City Via email to pmdbidinfo@boston.gov This section is very important. It outlines what we are asking for and gives an in-depth look at what we are expecting. The scope of work includes removal of approximately 3,300 square feet of existing carpet, vinyl tile and 1,000 lineal feet of rubber wall base and installation of new VCT flooring and rubber wall base on the third and fourth floors at 1483 Tremont Street. Before laying down the new flooring, all furniture should be moved to one side of the room. Once half the floor is complete, the furniture can be moved to the finished side to complete the installation. Protect the new floor using furniture sliders or felt pads under furniture legs. Furniture shall be put back in the manner in which it was previously placed.
