This project consists of milling and paving appx 138,000 SY of various streets within the City of Myrtle Beach. Receipt of questions will be marked by when they are received, not when they are sent. No late or electronic bid submissions will be accepted. The City is not responsible for late or misdirected mail. Question Deadline 08/05/2025 at 5:00 PM ET Project Description: Bids will be received for the following Work: The City for Myrtle Beach is receiving bids for asphalt resurfacing of various streets throughout the City. There will be approximately 138,000 SY's of Paving and 138,000 SY's of Milling. Asphalt shall be compacted to a thickness of 1.5", and Milling shall be at a depth of 1.5" to 2.5". All roads listed in the bid schedule should be complete by August 1st 2026. All road markings shall be thermoplastic and match current road markings. Temporary paint should be used for road markings after paving until thermoplastic can be installed. Attached maps are not to scale and for visual purposes only. All bidders should verify quantities prior to bidding. Award will be based on a lump sum price for the roads listed in the bid schedule. The City reserves the right to add or delete roads at the City's discretion. Additional roads shall be added or deleted based upon unit prices provided in this bid. An alternate for 3rd ave N Sidewalk is included. The bid will be awarded on the base bid of paving only.
