Site work for a water / sewer project in Darien, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The scope of work includes construction of site improvements including, but not limited to, landscaping, compacted gravel parking areas, vegetated sand dunes, constructed wetland, and beachfront improvements and expansion within the Weed Beach Town Park on Near water Lane in Darien, CT. Question Deadline 08/11/2025 All questions by prospective bidders as to the interpretations of the Advertisement for Bids, Form of General Bid, Agreement, Drawings, Specifications or Bonds, must be submitted in writing to the Project Engineer, Weston & Sampson Engineers, Inc., via email: BiggsD@wseinc.com, at least ten (10) days before the date herein set for the opening of bids. The selected contractor shall furnish a performance bond and a payment bond in amount at least equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price as stipulated in Section 00 72 00 GENERAL CONDITIONS of these specifications. By submission of a bid, the Bidder agrees that this bid shall be good and may not be withdrawn for a period of 60 working days, Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays excluded after the opening of bids. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
