This is a service / maintenance or supply contract in Asheboro, North Carolina. Contact the soliciting agency for additional information.
The City of Asheboro (City) is requesting QUALIFICATIONS ("RFQ") and invites the submittal of a Statement of Qualifications ("SOQ") from firms interested in providing engineering services for the W.L. Brown Water Treatment Plant (WTP). The project will address emerging contaminants that have been found in the WTP raw water supply and water distribution system through testing that was completed over the last few years. This study will analyze the most practical way to remove the PFAS chemicals from the water. This may include pilot testing, full scale testing and other testing at the water treatment plant. The results will be summarized in a report with layouts and cost opinions of the recommended system improvements. This project is being funded by NC DEQ Division of Water Infrastructure, Project No. SRF-DEC-0024 in the amount of $500,000. Contracts will need to follow the requirements of the State as such. Firms interested in submitting a response to this RFQ shall provide their primary contact information for the purpose of notification of any addenda. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
