Four Raised Crosswalks at the Connections Between Country Life Press Lirr Station, to the Locust School, and Grove Park to Facilitate Safer Pedestrian Crossings and Help Traffic Calming. Will Provide Safe, Continuous, and Accessible Routes Consistent With the Complete Streets Act of 2011 and Goals Within the 2023 Traffic Calming Master Plan in the Village of Garden City, in the Town of Hempstead, Nassau County County :Nassau As of July 31 , 2025, the project is in Conceptual status. Anticipated letting Year is 2026. NYDOT - Reconstruction of Approximately 250 Curb Ramps Within 46 Intersections *Project information has been obtained through a public state transportation improvement plan (STIP). A STIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the STIP often evolves based on funding availability.
