Fully signalized intersection and associated improvements at the Veterans Memorial Parkway (VMP) and Cairndale Road intersection. The intersection is currently unsignalized, with stop control on the Cairndale Road approaches and an existing pedestrian-activated crossing with overhead flashers on the north leg. It is an important east-west route for families walking to/from school. It experiences significant delays during AM and PM peak periods, with added delay and queuing anticipated as growth occurs, primarily to the south. TIMELINE: Plans are complete. Tender and construction schedules are undetermined. Further update may be available in late fall 2026, upon budget approvals.
