Renovation of a detention facility in Fredonia, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
The project is the design and installation of a post-frame building to be used as barn and vehicle storage for the farming operation at the West Kentucky Correctional Complex. The proposed building will be located south of the main complex on the site of the old barn. Work includes concrete, post-frame building, plumbing, ventilation and electrical trades. Project scope includes the asbestos remediation and demolition of the Red Dog Quonset Storage Barn and State House No. 2. The site visit will be held at 374 New Bethel Church Road Fredonia, KY 42411 . To attend this site visit meeting you must have a NCIC background check. The NCIC background check form is in the spec book. The form must be emailed to Regina Moore, regina.moore@ky.gov no later than 8-12-25, 3:00 PM,
