The City of Union City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive irregularities at the sole discretion of the City Council. This specification outlines the requirements for the application of an elastomeric roof coating system to restore an existing metal roof on Union City Fire Department Station #2 located at 1630 Bishop St., Union City, TN 38261. The work contemplated includes surface preparation, application of primers and coatings, and quality control to ensure a watertight, durable, and energy-efficient roof system. All work required to meet the coating manufacturer's conditions for warranty registration shall be required as part of this project. The approximate roof area is 5600 square feet. Bidders shall make an examination of the facility to verify dimensions and roof and site conditions prior to submitting a bid. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
