For construction of the Paving Repair Improvements of Old Soul Way, Scope:- Old Soul Way was constructed with Inspiration Phase 5B which is located in the City of Wylie, ETJ, Collin County, Texas. Inspiration Phase 5B consists of 170 Residential Lots and 7 Non-Residential. Old Soul Way Paving Repair Improvements consist of approximately 1,400 SY of 7" reinforced concrete paving and approximately 140 SY of 6" reinforced concrete driveways. The deadline to ask questions is 8/14/2025 12:00 AM CST Bid security in the form of bid bond or cashiers check payable to Collin County Water Control and Improvement District No. 3 in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Bid submitted, must accompany each Bid. Collin County Water Control and Improvement District No. 3 reserves the right to reject any and all bids. a) Contractor shall access the site through Existing Old Soul Way. The Contractor shall coordinate access and notifications to existing residents with the General Manager prior to construction. Any damage caused by the contractor shall be repaired at the contractor's expense. b) Existing Old Soul Way utility infrastructure, landscape, and structures shall remain in place or be adjusted to grade if impacted by pavement repair. Contractor shall locate and verify crossing utilities and structures prior to paving demolition. Contractor shall immediately notify the engineer of any discrepancies from construction plans and available record drawings. c) Any Earthwork or concrete spoil material shall be hauled off and properly disposed of by contractor. d) Access to residents on Old Soul Way must be always maintained. At least one lane along Old Soul Way shall remain open to facilitate traffic flow during the construction period. e) Erosion Control: The Erosion Control Plan, NOI, SWPPP and inspections are the responsibility of the Owner. Contractor will be responsible to provide/maintain erosion control measures to prevent sediment and construction materials from entering the existing storm sewer system and adjacent properties. Any material entering these areas will be removed at the Contractor's expense. f) Coordination with Testing Lab: Refer to Special Conditions. Contractor is responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and plotting all tests. Contractor is also responsible for ensuring that all tests and retests have passed. g) It is the Contractor's obligation to observe safety rules for traffic and OSHA requirements on all construction phases of this project. The Contractor shall be responsible for meeting and complying with all provisions of the various regulations. h) Water for all construction purposes shall be supplied by Wylie Northeast SUD at the contractor's expense. Contractor shall coordinate with the General Manager and water provider to obtain a water meter for construction. i) Existing fire hydrants are located along Old Soul Way j) Coordinate with General Manager prior to any paving activities on adjacent properties. k) The final geotechnical report prepared by UES is included for reference. l) Inspections will be provided by Collin County Water Control and Improvement District No. 3 (LJA Engineering, Inc.) for paving repairs. m) Upon final completion of all construction, the contractor is responsible for properly cleaning up and disposing of any construction waste or excess material and returning parkway grades to finished condition. n) Pay applications are due to the District Engineer by the 25th of every month covering work completed as of the date of the application.
