The JPA is requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from Professional Engineering Consultant Firms interested in providing Design services for DESIGN OF PORT WIDE RAIL EXPANSION FOR AGGREGATE DEVELOPMENT (READ) for the Jacksonville Port Authority. The JPA will utilize an external Professional Engineering Consultant Firm to provide all labor, materials, and expertise for concept development, engineering, environmental and geotechnical evaluations, final design and technical package, cost estimating, permitting, bid, and construction support to develop the port-wide rail network and increase vessel-to-rail options for aggregate imports at all marine terminals. Rail expansion to serve aggregate facilities is being initially pursued at Talleyrand Marine Terminal (TMT) and Dames Point Marine Terminal (DPMT).
