The Jacksonville Transportation Authority herein after referred to as (the Authority or JTA) a body politic and corporate and an agency of the State of Florida, located at 100 LaVilla Center Drive, Jacksonville, Florida 322204, is seeking a Contractor to design, fabricate, and install durable weather-resistant awnings to provide shade, weather protection, and aesthetic enhancement for designated entryways at the JRTC as further detailed in the Scope of Work. To design, fabricate, and install durable, weather-resistant awnings to provide shade, weather protection, and aesthetic enhancement for entryways at the South and East doorway at the JRTC. The Term of this agreement shall commence upon the Authority's issuance of a Purchase Order (PO) and shall reach Substantial completion within 150 days. Final completion shall be achieved within 30 days of Substantial completion. Total Contract Term shall be 180 days or until completion. The Bidder agrees to perform the services and ensure adherence to the Terms and Conditions set forth in this solicitation document and/or Purchase Order. The Contractor shall purchase and maintain at the Contractor's expense Commercial General Liability insurance coverage (ISO or comparable Occurrence Form) for the life of this Contract. Modified Occurrence or Claims Made forms are not acceptable. The JTA also reserves the right to take into consideration the Bidders' qualifications and past performance with the JTA or any other entity in determining if the Bidder is responsible and technically acceptable.
