Renovation of a swimming pool in Henderson, Nevada. Working plans call for the renovation of a 7,400-square-foot swimming pool.

“The owner has determined a prequalified list of construction managers. " Pre-construction services shall include constructability reviews, construction cost estimates, market availability / constructability advice, project analysis and feedback regarding materials, methods, systems, schedule, labor and other conditions affecting construction and subcontractor selection for development and construction of the Project. The selected CMAR shall provide support in evaluating, confirming feasibility, planning and managing specialized subcontractor work such as pool plaster replacement, pool decking installation and slide rehabilitation. Add alternates may be considered, pending scope and budget availability. The anticipated scope of construction includes comprehensive renovations to the Whitney Ranch Activity Pool facility. Work will include complete removal and replacement of approximately 7,400 square feet of white quartz-enhanced pool plaster (33% quartz aggregate), removal and replacement of the pool's cleanouts, floor drains, light niches, and underwater lighting fixtures, and installation of new waterline tile and tile-inlay depth markers in compliance with Southern Nevada Health District standards. The existing concrete pool deck--approximately 36,000 square feet--will be resurfaced using a thermoplastic deck coating system, with Pool Surface Coatings' AquaFlex specified as the Basis of Design. The project also includes the installation of a new 30' x 100' standing seam metal shade structure over a portion of the pool deck, complete with new plumbing and electrical service (including hose bibs, GFCI receptacles, and low-voltage conduit for future Wi-Fi connectivity). Additional improvements include the rehabilitation of an existing water slide and associated stairs, replacement of all deck drains with JOSAM PRO-PLUS 100C series drains, replacement of autofill and install new sealant at expansion joints, installation of a new play structure provided by the City, and various appurtenances to ensure code compliance, accessibility, and long-term durability.
