Metrolinx reserves the right to reject any or all Submissions at its sole discretion. 2.1 Surface Preparation and Repairs 2.1.1 Floor Preparation 2.1.2 Perform diamond grinding on all primary floor areas to achieve a smooth, clean substrate for coating application. 2.1.3 Shotblast all drive entrance and ramp areas exhibiting spalling to clean the surface and improve coating adhesion. 2.2 Crack and Surface Restoration 2.2.1 Fill all visible cracks and surface voids (divots) using an epoxy-based crack filler to restore structural integrity and surface continuity. 2.3 Moisture Control and Coating Application 2.3.1 Apply Sika 1610 MRB moisture barrier primer on all exposed concrete areas to minimize moisture vapor transmission. 2.3.2 Apply one (1) full coat of Sika 261 epoxy coating as the final sealing and finishing layer 2.3.3 Furnish and install Sika 8200 traffic topping system with a medium-traction texture. 2.3.4 Total surface coverage: approximately 1,600 sq. ft. across four (4) drive entrances of approximately 400 sq. ft. each. 2.4 2.4 Client-Supplied Requirements 2.4.1 Metrolinx shall provide the following: 2.4.2 Full and unrestricted access to all work areas for the duration of the project. 2.4.3 Site hoarding and support for general site cleaning. 2.4.4 Access to 600V and 120V power supply connections. 2.5 Warranty 2.5.1 Minimum two (2) years warranty covering materials and workmanship. 2.6 Service Hours 2.6.1 All work shall be performed during regular weekday working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM Official bid documents must be obtained from www.metrolinx.merx.com Bid Intent Deadline 09-Sep-2025 12:00:00 PM EDT
