The City of Douglasville is requesting competitive sealed bids for a road resurfacing project described. The project consists of approximately 10.8 miles of plant-mix resurfacing across 40 streets within the city limits. The City of Douglasville reserves the right to reject any bid that is non-responsive, incomplete, or otherwise fails to meet bid requirements, and further reserves the right to reject all bids. Please note that no pre-bid meeting will be held Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid price.Note: Performance and payment bonds (each at 100% of the contract value) will be required from the selected contractor prior to the Notice to Proceed. The City of Douglasville reserves the right to waive any technicalities, formalities, or irregularities in any bid submission. The work consists of approximately 10.8 miles of plant-mix asphalt resurfacing across 40 streets located within the City limits of Douglasville, including a mix of local streets and minor collector roads.
