This project requires 24% DBE participation, or if the contract goal is not met, documented evidence of good faith efforts. The Complexity Factor for this project is 0.035. The Consultant who is selected for this project and all Subconsultants the Prime Consultant will be using are scheduled to attend an initial meeting on October 23, 2025, at 9:00 AM at the Region One/District One Office in Schaumburg. Phase II Engineering Services are required to develop contract plans, specifications, cost estimates, structural designs, geotechnical investigations, supplemental surveying, and any other necessary tasks to support the superstructure replacement of the Hankes Road Bridge over IL 56. The project scope includes replacement of the bridge superstructure, approach pavement, and repairs to the substructure, along with the proposed replacement of crossroad culverts. Additional work may include guardrail replacement and ditch grading.
