Site work for a mixed-use development in Alexandria, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and playground / park / athletic field.
It is the sole responsibility of the bidder to check the website for Addenda and Questions/Answers, and to obtain all updates prior to submitting a bid. No Addenda or Question/Answer responses will be issued after August 15, 2025. The bidder is also responsible for producing their own hard copies of all bid documents as needed. Each bidder is required to submit with his proposal a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the base bid. The bidder to whom the contract is awarded will be required to furnish a surety bond in an amount equal to one-hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Kentucky to provide said surety. The Contractor will be allowed to complete final asphalt paving and incidental associated work through April 17, 2026, without assessment of liquidated damages, provided all other contract work is complete and the roadway is in a drivable condition, including the use of DGA wedge transitions to tie in to existing pavement. Project Start Date: November 3, 2025 Primary Completion Date: March 25, 2026 The County reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids.
