Renovation of a municipal facility in Campton, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Wolfe County Fiscal Court is soliciting bids from qualified contractors for theretrofit of interior and/or exterior lighting with energy-efficient LED fixturesin accordance with a final design approved by the State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO). The retrofit must preserve the historic integrity of thefacility while meeting all modern energy and safety codes. This project is funded in part by federal sources and must comply withboth the Build America, Buy America Act (BABA) and the Davis-Bacon Act(DBA). 2. Scope of Work The general scope includes: o Removal and safe disposal of existing lighting fixtures and components o Installation of SHPO-approved LED fixtures and lighting controls o Minor electrical modifications as needed for retrofit compatibility o Coordination with historic preservation guidelines to avoid damage or alteration to protected features o Testing, commissioning, and documentation of installed systems o Compliance with energy efficiency standards and local electrical codes Note: Contractors must contact the issuing agency for complete projects pecifications, site conditions, and fixture schedules. Bid Bond: 5% of bid total Performance Bond: 100% of contract value Payment Bond: 100% of contract value All bids must include: o Company background and qualifications o Itemized cost proposal o Draft project schedule o Statement of compliance with BABA and DBA o Proof of insurance and bonding o List of key personnel and subcontractors o Three references from similar projects
