Bid Intent Not Available The City of Delray Beach, through its Parks and Recreation Department, seeks a firm to provide restoration and resurfacing of up to thirty- eight (38) Har-Tru clay courts located at: Delray Beach Tennis Center 201 W. Atlantic Avenue, Delray Beach, FL 33444 Delray Swim and Tennis Club 2350 Jaegar Dr., Delray Beach, FL 33444 The awarded Bidder (hereinafter in this Scope of Services referred to as Vendor) shall provide all labor, materials, facilities, equipment, supplies, machinery necessary and travel for the work. Scope of Work/Technical Specifications to be provided by the successful Bidder includes, but is not limited to the following: a. Remove the top layer of clay, old lines, nails, and debris b. Scrape the court surface and remove any remaining foreign debris, surface algae, mold and other organic growth c. Dispose of excess and dead material d. Scarify the entire court surface e. Add Har-Tru with binder, bringing the current clay depth to the 1" ASBA standard and using 24 tons (or as needed) per court for Delray Swim and Tennis Club and 202.5 tons (or as needed) per court of Hydro Blend Material for Delray Beach Tennis Center. f. Laser new Har-Tru with laser guided box blade g. Roll court twice to compact new Har-Tru h. Supply new white 21" Har-Tru Herringbone Line Tape with new nails. For sprinkler courts using 3" ASBA standard nails from Har-Tru and for above ground water courts 2.5" ASBA standard nails from Har-Tru. i. Roll court to compact lines j. Laser grade court(s) for proper drainage slope k. Water and compact the entire surface l. Adjust water level on applicable court(s) m. Treat perimeters off all court(s) with liquid copper sulfate n.
