Project Summary: This project makes repairs to the Hailey House in the Ketchum Ranger District of the Sawtooth National Forest. 1. Base bid repairs include: A. Removing and disposing of existing drywall and fire board. a. The drywall in the house has tested positive for lead based paint b. The fire board around the chimney tested positive for asbestos. B. Installing new drywall and fire board C. Removing and replacing blown-in insulation D. Painting newly installed drywall E. Removing bathroom flooring and installing luxury vinyl planks F. Mold remediation, if needed 2. Option #1 work includes: patching and painting settling cracks in the drywall. Cracks occur in corners of several rooms and at panel joints.
