Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Middlesex Centre, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The work of the contract generally involves the following: - The supply and installation of a new 300mm diameter watermain along Glendon Road By open cut and horizontal directional drilling methods - The supply and installation of new Meter Chamber and appurtenances including electrical components - Coordination with Hydro One for electrical service to the new chamber - Restoration of disturbed areas including curb and gutter, sidewalk, asphalt roadway and topsoil and sod as required. - Hydrostatic and bacteriological testing of the new main, and - The protection of the natural environment throughout the Contract Limits, and The contractor shall be responsible for complete restoration of all areas disturbed during construction.
