Site work for a civil project in Fingal, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This request for tender seeks qualified contractors to complete the construction of the Fingal Pump Station, forcemain and related works on Union Road in the Township of Southwold. The road section under investigation is generally surrounded by a mix of agricultural fields and commercial, recreational and residential developments. The 1.2 km long road section is bounded by Talbot Line to the north and McDiarmid Line to the south. The pumping station is to be constructed on part of the Site which will be developed in the future, located about 2.5 km southeast of the new proposed Wastewater Treatment Plant in Shedden. The following sections provide a summary of the soil conditions and groundwater conditions.
