This project involves concrete retaining wall repairs, including but not limited to, structural concrete repairs, new concrete buttress walls, any and all mobilization, General Condition requirements, dust control, pedestrian and vehicular traffic control, notifications, temporary facilities, safety equipment, site photography, project management, and restoration of disturbed areas shall be considered incidental to this Contract. The project will include: A general scope ofwork is described as follows: Selective structural demolition and structural repairs to existing cast inplace concrete retaining walls surrounding the existing parking lot. oLiquidated damages apply at the rate of $500.00 per calendar day. oThis is a unit price contract. oPrevailing wage ratesapply to this contract. oProposals must besubmitted upon theforms within thespecifications. Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds or certifiedcheck in the amount of 100% of the contract,along with Public Liability and Property DamageCertificates of Insurancein the amounts specified,as well as Certificates ofWorkman's Compensation must be filed with theexecuted Agreement. Proposals to receive consideration must beaccompanied by a Certified Check or Bidder's Bond from a SuretyCompany authorized todo business in Pennsylvania, made to the order of the City of Butler inan amount equal to tenpercent (10%) of the totalamount of the Proposalas a guarantee that, ifthe Proposal is accepted,the successful Bidder willenter into an Agreement within 15 days after Notice of the Award of the Contract. The Proposals shallremain firm for a periodof sixty (60) days. No Bidder may withdraw hisProposal during the sixty (60) day period without forfeiting his Bid guarantee.
