pioject will include: A general scope of work is described as follows for three (3) parking lots: Demolition work, 1.5" Milling, Soft Spot Repair, 1-1/2" Superpave 9.5mm Fine Graded Wearing Course, Asphalt Wedge Curb, Parking Lot Sealing, Concrete Sidewalk, Concrete ADA Parking Areas, Inlet Replacements, ADA Ramps, ADA Signage, Line Striping, Electrical Conduit, Benches, Trash Cans. Trees with Permeable Surface, Traffic Control, Resident Notification, and Restoration. Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds or certified check in the amount of 100% of the contract, along with Public Liability and Property Damage Certificates oi Insurance in the amounts specified, as well as Certificates of Workman's Compensation must be filed with the executed Agreement. Proposals to receive consideration must ' Bond from a Surety Company authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, made to the order of the City of Butler in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Proposal as a guarantee that, if the Proposal is accepted, the successful Bidder will enter into an Agreement within 15 days after Notice of the Award of the Contract. The Proposals shall remain firm for a period of sixty (60) days. No of Bidder may withdraw his Proposal during the sixty (60) day period without forfeiting nis Bid guarantee, The City of Butler reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals, or any part thereof, for any reason, and also reserves the right to waive any informality therein. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
