Site work for a civil project in Chilliwack, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The purpose of this Major Works Construction Contract is to repair sections on the Kookipi, Kookipi Branch 3 (6700), and Kookipi Branch 7 (West 400) FSRs that were damaged in the November 2021 storm event. Road reconstruction will include the installation of four major crossing with heavy walled steel pipes at 2.3km, 2.865km, 4.3km, and 4.7km on the Kookipi Branch 3 FSR. Other works on the three FSRs will involve minor culvert installations, French drain installation, rock buttressing on fill and cutslopes, road lifting/realignment and surfacing, quarry development, riprap placement in crossing locations, pullback of over steepened FSR sections, and clearing of material from raveling sections on the FSRs. Danger tree falling within repair site areas will also be required. Much of the works will be done per engineered plans and drawings completed by Stonecroft Engineering Ltd.
