The following scope assumes the customer is adding onto its existing Lenel access control system. Card Reader licenses will be provided for the project. Please include the number of Lenel door licenses that are needed for the project. Lenel information will be available for winning bidder. In the event that the existing pathway is full then the vendor will be responsible for installing their own pathway from the panel location to the door. The pathway needs to be self-supported and follow all applicable codes for the area. Pathway shall not exceed 70% or max fill on any of the enclosed codes or standards whichever is least, on any conduits regardless if it is vendor installed or using something that is already in place. Low voltage permits shall be pulled in this project and it is the responsibility of the vendor to pull permits as well as ensure that inspections are done in a timely fashion. All cable shall be plenum rated. All penetrations shall be fire stopped. Door hardware schedules are provided with this RFP. In the event that the described door functionality is not possible using the listed hardware, then the bidder shall include in their proposal all additional hardware that is necessary to produce the desired functionality. The vendor shall be responsible for providing any hardware that is noted as "by security contractor" on the hardware schedule.
