Renovation of a military facility in New Orleans, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
The work consists of constructing a guide levee, access ramp, and a closure structure that includes a 54-inch pipe, headwall, and flap gate. Additional tasks include turf establishment and improving an existing access road off West Irene Road, which will tie into a proposed access road running south to the project site. The estimated time of completion is 455 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. This procurement is set aside for 100% Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) small businesses only and will result in a single firm fixed price contract 1. Location Comite River Diversion Project, Brooks Lake Closure Structure and Guide Levee, East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana. The Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) of construction is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. Questions/Clarifications: All questions are due no later than 10:00AM local time only, Wednesday, 10 September 2025. CST/local time.
