Bids are invited for several items and quantities of work as follows: oLift Station #10 - EmergencyGenerator oGolden Villa Lift Station - Emergency Generator A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submittedwith each bid. A certified check orbank draft payable to the City ofAtlanta, Texas or negotiable U.S.Government Bonds (as par value)may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. The project to be constructed pursuant to this contract will be financed with assistance of theHazard Mitigation Grant Program(HMGP) administered by the TexasDivision of Emergency Management (TDEM) and is subject to all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations. Attention iscalled to the fact that not less than the federally determined prevailing Davis-Bacon and Related Actswage rate, as issued by the Department of Labor and containedin the contract documents, mustbe paid on this project. In addition, the successful bidder mustensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because ofrace, color, religion, sex, sexualorientation, gender identity, or national origin. The City of Atlanta, Texas reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the City ofAtlanta, Texas for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date ofthe bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualificationsprior to the contract award.
