Newberry County is soliciting bids from qualified contractors for the improvements to the wastewater lines to serve the Mid-Carolina Commerce Park, Prosperity SC. Construction Cost Range: greater than $100,000. The work to be completed as a part of this project consists of providing all required materials, equipment, all related appurtenances, and labor necessary to complete the Improvements of the Phase IIIB 12-Inch Water Line and 8-Inch Gravity Wastewater Line Improvements to Serve the Mid-Carolina Commerce Park for Newberry County, South Carolina, with the following approximate quantities: Base Bid: The proposed improvements include: Wastewater: approximately 3,030 linear feet of 8-inch gravity wastewater line, nine (9) wastewater manholes and associated appurtenances. Water: approximately 1,200 linear feet of 12-inch water line, two (2) fire hydrant assemblies and associated appurtenances. Base Bid Alternate No. 1: The proposed improvements include: Wastewater: approximately 460 linear feet of 8-inch gravity wastewater line, two (2) wastewater manholes and associated appurtenances. No bid may be withdrawn within a period of sixty-one (61) days after the actual date of the opening and thereof. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. There will NOT be a Pre-Bid Conference for this project. Questions must be submitted by Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at 5:00 PM.
