as having obtained a Project Manual. The Project Manual is one bound document. The Project Manual is available for review (by appointment only) at the Picture Rocks Borough Municipal Building (113 North Main Street, Picture Rocks, Pennsylvania 17762, telephone number 570-584-6362). The Project involves the following approximate quantities: 2,000 tons of R-8 riprap. All work and material must meet current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Specifications Form 408 and its supplements. A certified check or bank draft, payable to The Borough of Picture Rocks, or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (at par value), or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to ten (10) percent of the total of the Bid shall be submitted with each Bid. Construction Performance and Payment Bonds are required in the amount of one-hundred (100) percent of the Contract as awarded. Attention is called to the fact that each Bidder shall not in any manner discriminate by reason of race, age, color, religion, gender, national origin, handicap, creed, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or in violation of the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act (PHRA) and applicable federal laws, against or intimidate any of its employees and/or applicants for employment. Not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Project Manual must be paid on this Project.
