Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Merrillville, Indiana. Completed plans call for the construction of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
Bids for each individual subcontractor/ material supplier trade package are requested. Refer to Instructions to Bidders, for the complete list of all bid packages. All work for the complete construction of the project will be under multiple subcontracts with the Construction Manager based on bids received from pre-qualified tier 1 bidders. Award of contracts will be in accordance with Indiana Public Bidding laws. Construction shall be in full accordance with the Bidding Documents. All Tier 1 bidders must request an invitation to prequalify, submit and complete the Pre-qualification process prior to bid submission deadline. Bid Security in the amount of five (5) % of the amount of the Bid, must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner and the Construction Manager reserve their rights to accept or reject any bid (or combination of bids) and to waive any irregularities or omissions in bidding. All bids may be held for a period not to exceed 60 days before subcontract awards.
