2025 Mentor Facilities Paving - The project is located in the City of Mentor at the following five locations: Wildwood Cultural Center, Mentor Recreation Center, Mentor Cemetery, Harbor Drive, and the Marina driveway into the Lagoons Marina. The work included in this contract includesthe repair of existing asphalt pavement COMPLETION DATE: 11/7/2025 Est.value- $451,000 *Upon request, the Owner will provide each Bidder access to the site to conduct such reasonable investigations and tests as each Bidder deems necessary for submission for his bid . The project consists of one contract. WILDWOOD CULTURAL CENTER - Work at thislocation includes milling "butt" joint(s) asrequired, 1.5" milled off, full depth base repairs, as directed, 1.5" of 441 surface asphalt (PG64-22), and pavement markings, per the details and specifications. MENTOR RECREATION CENTER - REAR LOT Work at thislocation includes milling "butt" joint(s) asrequired, 1.5" milled off, full depth base repairs, as directed, 1.5" of 441 surface asphalt (PG64-22), and pavement markings, per the details and specifications. This work also includes "to grade" manhole/inlet basin adjustments, as directed. MENTOR CEMETERY - Work at this location includes the building of two new road sections. One section is approximately 24 ft x 200 ft., and the other section is approximately 24 ft x 160 ft. This item shall consist of excavating each new road section and compacting the area. The contractor shall proof roll each new road section in the presence of the project engineer, before proceeding. The contractor shall place 6" of 304 aggregate base, 6" of 301 asphalt base (PG64-22), and 2" of 441 surface asphalt (PG64-22). The maximum compacted depth of any one layer shall be 4". No paving work shall occur until the contractor has been notified to proceed by the engineer. Failure of the contractor to follow this procedure may result in the city withholding payment for any work performed. Work on existing roads includes milling "butt" joint(s) as required, 1.5" milled off, full depth base repairs, as directed, 1.5" of surface coarse asphalt, and pavement markings, per the details and specifications. HARBOR DRIVE - FROM MARINA DR "BUTT" JOINT TO WEST SIDE OF CLOSEST INTERSECTION Work at this location includes milling "butt" joint(s) as required, 1.5" milled off, full depth base repairs, as directed, 1.5" of 441 surface asphalt (PG70-22), and pavement markings, per the details and specifications. This work also includes "to grade" gas, water and monument box adjustments, as directed. MARINA DRIVEWAY - FROM HARBOR DRIVE "BUTT" JOINT TO THE NORTH SIDE OF THE CAUSEWAY BRIDGE Work at thislocation includes milling "butt" joint(s) asrequired, full depth base repairs, as directed, communications pull box adjustments and have 1.5" of 441 surface asphalt (PG70-22) overlayed on the existing pavement per the details and specifications.
