Site work for a water / sewer project in Charleston, West Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Work includes installing 380 LF of 18-inch force main via open cut under the Elk River, new receiving structure on the west side of the river; valve installations, replacement pump header in the lowest level of the Virginia Street Lift Station, miscellaneous site improvements; together with necessary appertaining work. The work will be completed and ready for substantial completion within 150 calendar days after the Contract Time commences to run and final payment within 180 calendar days after the date when the Contract Time commences to run as provided in the Notice to Proceed. A cashiers check payable to The Sanitary Board of the City of Charleston or a Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and a Surety Company approved by the CSB, in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the Bid, shall be submitted with each Bid, to guarantee the Bidders entrance into a Contract, if given the award. The CSB reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Bidding.
