Site work for a mixed-use development in Atlanta, Georgia. Conceptual plans call for site work for a transportation facility.

Conceptual scope includes an intercity passenger rail service between Atlanta and Savannah. No final route, station locations, construction budget, or implementation schedule have been established and if the project progresses, it is likely to proceed in phases. As of August 3, 2026, the project is the project remains in the planning and alternatives evaluation phase. Final track alignments, station locations, construction schedules and construction funding have not been approved. An engineer, architect and general contractor have not been identified, and no selection timeline or procurement method has been announced. With completion of the Service Development Plan expected around 2027-2028, and no construction start date established, construction is not expected to begin before the first quarter of 2029.
